Hello! Bonjour! Hola!
Welcome to Class 3/4T's Page where you can keep up to date with what is going on in class.
We have been extremely busy in year 3/4T, here are some of the amazing things we have done:
Y4s walked into town to visit the refurbished library to see a J.R.R Tolkien exhibit and designed some treasure, currently being displayed in the library. Check it out!
Y3s participated in Bikeability. It was amazing to see how hard the children were working on learning to ride without stabilizers! Well done to everyone who worked so hard!
Last term our topic was The Victorians and we read 'Street Child' by Berlie Doherty. The story offered an insight into Victorian England and follows a young boy as he struggles through poverty and the Workhouse.
Our Snow Queen performance raised the roof and even got a mention on Stafford FM! A huge well done to all the children for taking part and thank you for all the support we've received from parents.
3/4T did a wonderful job as flowers designing and learning their own dance! I know who I'll be coming to if I'm ever short of moves at the school disco!
Work produced by Thomas and Fay to advertise The Snow Queen.
Coming up this term...
Guess where we're off to this term?
See below a picture of the Learning Charter we created and signed at the start of the year. We choose what we thought were the most important things to remember and promised to remember them in all our learning.
A little bit about me:
I've been teaching for four years after qualifying from Chester University. Born and bred in Stoke-on-Trent, I love a good oatcake! I'm passionate about reading children's books and the imaginative adventures children can go on - so please recommend me something! I'm creative and enjoy teaching art and my classroom is usually covered with some kind of glittery-paper-gluey mess!
