At Tillington Manor we understand the importance of reading and reading for pleasure and promtoe this across our school.
We have a reading den which operates as a library where children have a free choice of books to share at home with their parents. We have reading volunteers who help run this on a regular basis.
The Reading Den now contains a system to scan out books to children which is connected to the internet so they can blog about what they are reading. It gives children a chance to search our system to see what other books they might want to read.
